The Afternoon Teescup: Jollybrew Pumpkin Spice tea

Pumpkin spice tea banner.jpg

It's autumn and as such, it's the best time of year to eat (and drink!) as many pumpkin flavoured goodies as possible. We give Jollybrew's pumpkin spice blend a try in our latest review.

We love autumn here at Afternoon Tees - it's a great opportunity to wrap up warm, watch the trees turn from green to beautiful oranges, browns and yellows and most importantly... drink even more cups of tea than usual!

There's a lot of pumpkin flavoured things in the shops and we were really excited when it was time to drink a customary pumpkin spice latte... however we had never heard of pumpkin spice flavoured tea before!

We got our pumpkin spice flavoured tea from Jollybrew, a company we have enjoyed tea from before. They were doing a promotion where you could buy little samples for £1 each so we decided to try a couple of unusual flavours!

Check out our Jollybrew reviews of their Rosie Lee and Proper Peppermint tea.

The pumpkin spice blend contained black tea as lots of tasty autumnal flavours including orange, apple and cinnamon. The loose leaf tea smelled absolutely beautiful (very zesty!) and was flecked with lots of orange and yellow bits.

Jollybrew recommended brewing the tea for three to four minutes so that is what we did. The tea smelled absolutely wonderful when it was brewing through, it was so tempting to not down it in one!

We had a little sip of it without milk in and it was pleasant enough, but with milk it was delicious! Very aromatic, sweet and very similar to chai. If you're not a fan of sweet teas it will probably not be for you, but if you are, it's an autumnal essential!

Are you a fan of pumpkin flavoured food and drink?
